Volunteer Application Form

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Little Bits. Our program is for riders with disabilities, including children, young adults and adults.
Our Spring 2012 session begins April 1 and runs until June 20, 2012 at Whitemud Equine Centre. Spring volunteer orientation night prior to the spring session is on Tuesday, March 27th at Whitemud Equine Centre.
Our Fall 2012 session begins September 16 and runs until Nevember 21, 2012 at Whitemud Equine Centre. Please check back in late July for volunteer orientation night date.

Program Schedule:

Whitemud Equine Centre:

  • Sunday - 9:30am to 6pm
  • Tuesday - 8:30am to 1:15pm  and 3:30pm to 9:15pm
  • Wednesday - 2:30pm to 9:15pm
Interested volunteers should review the Volunteer Application Package before completing the online form, as it provides important information that applicants should be familiar with before deciding to volunteer.

Volunteer Requirements

Volunteers assist in the classes by leading a horse or sidewalking. Help is also needed in the barn to groom and tack horses. The minimum age for volunteers to lead or sidewalk is 14 years. There are some opportunities for 12 & 13 year olds with horse experience to help in the barn.
